Greetings lovely people! I’ve just returned from a whirlwind trip around the Eyre Peninsula teaching lots of fun workshops. The Eyre Peninsula is gorgeous (I’d never been before) and it was a wonderful excuse to explore. I was lucky enough to stay on another couple of nights after the workshops finished to explore Coffin Bay and Tumby Bay. See my blog post about the trip and a look inside my travel journal here.
Eyre Peninsula Workshop Tour
I just returned from a delightful week of workshops in the Eyre Peninsula, starting in Whyalla and ending in Pt Lincoln. Everyone I met was so lovely and thankful to me for sharing my art process with them. Most of the workshops were ‘Whimsical Watercolours’ - akin to the ‘
If you emailed me last week and didn’t get a reply, I’m not ignoring you! My emails (and website) have been on the blink and I haven’t been getting them. I think that everything is good now, so you can try again if you like or email zeenalgland@gmail.com if it doesn’t come through.

'Bizarre Birds' Art Class and Zine
Welcome to my first ever online art class! I’m going to be posting at least one of these every month for my beloved paid subscribers. Here’s a little intro.
If you happen to be an Adelaide local, you might like to come along to paint birds and sip on tea at The Cedars (in Hahndorf). Step-by-step drawing sheets are provided if you’re nervous about drawing, so all you have to do is sit back and relax. The next class is September 8, Check it out here.
Australian Animal A-Z Book

My focus animal from the book this month was the Frilled-Neck Lizard. These dragons may seem scary when they open up their neck flap, but it is a bit of a rouse!

It was wonderful sitting around in different beautiful locations, painting in my sketchbook and chatting to my sister. Here’s a little video tour through the
