Here are a few photo notes of the things that went on in my garden this month, enjoy!
My lovely Stirling Market neighbour Cathy bought this Tamarillo for me the other day. Interested to explore the fruit!
I still don’t have the glut of basil I’ve always wanted (I love pesto)! Oh well, I’ll keep trying!
Attempt #2 to plant zinnia seeds. This time they’re off the ground so they hopefully won’t get eaten!
I put this little echidna sculpture I made in the garden next to my bee watering station. Drink up my dear!
Poor dead zinnia flowers, everything is just sooooo dry!
I have way more pumpkins than last year, but they’re also way smaller!
A dead sunflower head, ready for seed collecting.
These big meaty tomatoes have been eaten daily and they taste so good fresh off the bush.
Little eggplant, yay! At least the eggplants are growing well in the sun.
I’m proud of this little household achievement. The other day, I painted the wall a colour nicer than the lime green it was and placed this lovely climbing native next to it. It looks very lovely if you ask me!
Seed collecting, dill this time.
I enjoyed drawing down in the paddock this morning. The cool(ish) breeze after the little bit of rain last night was very welcome.
How are things going in your garden? I’d love to see photos!

Happy March, Zinia! I can picture you, digging, watering and drawing. Providing much-needed water for the creatures and the plants does feel meditative and sacred. I must do some more. The ravens got me up, noisily asking for me ro refill the birdbath this morning. Happy gardening and Fringe-ing!
