Here are a few photo notes of the things that went on in my garden this month
I know the dandelion growing in the cracks of my pavement is a weed, but I really love the combination of colours with the lavender and fuchsia. My first beans! These climbing beans are making me so happy, they make me think of Jack and the Beanstalk. The little beauties that come from being a bit slack, this thyme flower is so beautiful. First sunflower for the year, this bee was loving it. I watched it for ages! We've had some rains and there are so many more pumpkins growing than there were last year. Thank you bees, I see you! Yippee! This zucchini is climbing up my sunflower. Such a sweet collaboration. Still waiting for the tomatos to ripen… A rogue tomato self seeded next to my blueberry bush, well I guess things will grow where there is water. How much does this onion flower look like a bird? Speaking of birds, we are now proud owners of 6 lovely quails! How are things going in your garden? I’d love to see photos!
With love and whimsy,
